Young Adz, Skepta & Chip Share “Waze” Video, as their Collaborative Album Sets to Drop Soon


Probably you are familiar with one of the grime’s most prominent international stars, Skepta, while Young Adz and Chip’s group D-Block Europe have similarly found widespread success in Great Britain.

The trio’s collaborative project titled “Insomnia” is almost released, having given us “Waze,” the first from the album with its accompanying video.

Skepta, Chip, and Young Adz have their different journey to the top until this collaborative project, though. Where; Young Adz broke out through his D-Block Europe record with Street Trauma last year. Chip is returning from his with this project from his 2018 studio album release, Ten10. While Insomnia project is the first time that Skepta is slated to release a full-fledged LP since last year’s Ignorance Is Bliss.

Meanwhile, the video, “Waze” setting is in a council estate, dress code is luxury all-black, and then occasion is a party in the parking lot. In the song, Skepta is heard taking over the middle verse, focusing on the pull he has in the hip-hop and pop world at large, he raps: “Say hello to the psycho/ I wrote a list of all the sh*t that I wanna kill/ I put the game first and if it didn’t work/ Then by now I’d be bang on the drill/ I can make a mill’, I get a mop like a cleaner/ I can get Koffee and Justin Bieber.”

The project “Insomnia,” is set to drop this Friday, March 27, the same date as the much-anticipated “ADHD” album from Joyner Lucas.
