Kangaroos are the only large animals to use hopping as a means of locomotion. It is among the strongest animal in the world, It does not get scared when approached by human, The comfortable hopping speed for  Kangaroo is about 70 km/h. I’m sure that you have not heard before about Kangaroo in the list of fastest animals in the world but it is among.


3. African wild dog.

The African Wild Dog is also known as the Painted Dog and the Cape Hunting Dog.  It is a medium sized species of canine found across sub-Saharan Africa. , especially in savannas and other lightly wooded areas. It is also called the Painted Hunting Dog, the Cape Hunting Dog, the Spotted Dog. This dog can cover 70 to 71 kilometers in one hour.  The African Wild Dog is most easily identified from both domestic and other wild Dogs by their brightly mottled fur, with its name in Latin aptly meaning painted wolf

The pronghorn is a species of artiodactyl mammal indigenous to interior western and central North America, The Pronhorn can run exceptionally fast, . It covers up to 88.5 kilometers per hour. It is accepted to be one of the fastest land animal in the World.


7. Cheetah.

The cheetah or Acinonyx jubatus is a large felid of the subfamily Felinae that occurs mainly in eastern and southern Africa and a few parts of Iran, It has a running speed of115 km/h, Cheetahs are among the fastest animals on land.


8. Onager.

Onagers is also known as ashemione or Asiatic wild ass, It is a species of the family Equidae (horse family) native to Asia. They are little larger than donkeys at about 290 kilograms and 2.1 metres (head-body length), It looks like horse, They have short-legs compared to horses, Onager can cover up to 70 kilometers in one hour.


9. Springbok.

The springbok is a medium-sized brown and white antelope found  mainly in southern and southwestern Africa. It is smart and fast and can reach speeds of 100 km/h. Also, it can leap 4 m into the air and jump a horizontal distance of up to 15 m.


10. Wildebeest.

Wildebeest also called gnus are well known for their annual migration to new pastures. It is among the fastest animal on land. It have an apparent maximum running speed of around 80.5 km/h. They belong to the family Bovidae, which includes antelopes, cattle, goats, sheep and other even-toed horned ungulates.
