Maybach Music boss Rick Ross announces the title of his 11th studio album, “Rich Than I’ve Ever Been.” Rozay took to Instagram stories to reveal the next chapter in his 15-year career.
“My new album, Richer Than I’ve Ever Been, that’s on the way,” Ross said.
He equally added that the title was inspired by a conversation he had with a “very, very wise old person.”
“I’m spiritually wealthy, and I’m richer than I’ve ever been,” said Rozay.
Rick Ross had earlier this month released the album’s first single, “Pinned to the Cross,” featuring Finn Matthews. Rozay opened the song following his Verzuz battle with 2 Chainz, and on the powerful track, he reflects on social injustice and the Black experience in America.
Last year, Rick Ross released Port of Miami 2, the sequel to his 2006 debut album Port of Miami, which featured Nipsey Hussle, Meek Mill, Teyana Taylor, Jeezy, and more. The successful album would go on to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
Meanwhile, Richer Than I’ve Ever Been could include a collaboration with Kanye West. Recently, Ross linked up with his “Monster” collaborator in Atlanta.
