Logic Says Thanks to Kendrick Lamar, Drake in a Tearful Farewell

The Maryland rapper rounded off his decade-long career with the release of his sixth and final album No Pressure on Friday. While on his album listening party on Twitch, Logic fought to hold back his tears as he spoke to his fans and also thanking his peers, including Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake.

“I want to thank Kendrick because he doesn’t know how much he was there for me…and Cole,” said emotional Logic. “And Drake, fuckin’ A$AP [Rocky] and Ferg. And Mac DeMarco and fuckin’ Toro y Moi. It was such a dream for him to be on this album and record. There’s too many people, man.”

As the tears continued to flow, Logic addressed his supporters. “I thank you all. I love you all. I appreciate you all. I bid you farewell, and as always, I’m obediently yours,” he said.

Logic, who recently welcomed his first son, plans to stay off social media for the first time in his career. “I won’t be on the internet for the first time in my career because it hurts me, and every time I released an album, I just wanted to be loved, and this time I don’t check the internet because I finally love myself,” he added.

Finally, he signed off with a message of gratitude. “So thank you so much and as always, peace, love, and positivity. I love you, I appreciate you, and I’ll see you in other endeavors.”

After welcoming his first son, Bobby with his wife Brittney Noell, Logic shared the photos of his baby boy, citing his blessings to his life. “These two make me the happiest man in the world, and it’s a happiness nothing else has ever been able to fulfill,” he said.

He plans to focus on his family, but fans can still interact with him through Twitch. He will stream weekly on the gaming platforms as part of an exclusive seven-figure deal.

“I’m blessed enough to have millions of fans and followers. So it is a great partnership,” he told The Verge. “I’m going to bring new eyes to their service, they’re going to bring new money to my bank account, and — I’m just kidding.”
