Just a day after Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, the rapper received flowers from her colleague Lizzo. The “WAP” rapper took to her Instagram Story to show off the colorful floral arrangement, which came with a heartfelt note from Lizzo.
“Flowers for a flower! Congrats on all of your successes this summer—know you are loved and are love,” the handwritten note read. “P.S. I’m sending you something good this week. Love, Lizzo!”
Cardi gratefully shared her reaction to the beautiful surprise. “Isn’t Lizzo like the nicest person in the world? Look what she sent me,” she said. “She is just a beautiful ass person. I just love her so much. These are so pretty.”

The labelmates at Atlantic Records continue to show love for each other. Previously, Cardi revealed that she wanted Lizzo to make a cameo in her “WAP” video, but she had a busy schedule. “She was on vacation, and she wasn’t in town,” Cardi B told Hot 97. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh,’ because I had a whole vision about how I want to see Lizzo and everything.”
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Lizzo is showing good gestures to her fellow women. After Megan Thee Stallion was injured in a shooting involving Tory Lanez, she sent her a special care package filled with candy.
On the other hand, Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband after three years of marriage on Tuesday in Fulton County, Georgia. The amended divorce documents obtained by TMZ now reveal that she wants Offset to have joint custody of their 2-year-old daughter Kulture, and she will not seek support from him.
At the moment, neither Cardi nor Offset have directly addressed their separation. But the Migos rapper returned to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of photos of himself. “Grind don’t stop,” he captioned the pics.
