Kanye West’s new album title appears to have been leaked – according to a recent interview with cinematographer and director Arthur Jafa, Kanye West is working on a new project titled “God’s Country.” Arthur Jafa revealed the news while speaking with Michele Lamy when asked if he was working on a video for Kanye’s Sunday Service session.
In the interview, Jafa responded to the question by revealing that his work for Kanye West is for a new album God’s Country. “No, no, no. It’s from his new record. It’s called God’s Country, and this will be like the first single off of it,” Jafa said, as HipHop-More reported. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to not be announcing it. I may just be spilling the beans.”
He went forward to talk about a new single that will be arriving as soon as next week. “It’s from a new record that’s forthcoming. I don’t know when the album is coming out, but the single I think maybe sometime next week. Maybe, it’s not sure; it’s not definite,” Jafa added.
Meanwhile, following Arthur Jafa’s revelation, the Yeezy Mogul is yet to respond nor confirm the news. The new album, if arrives, would follow his last year’s Jesus Is King that made it to his ninth No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The only announcement coming from the billionaire was when he announced last November that he and Dr. Dre were in the studio working on a sequel to Jesus Is King called Jesus Is King Part II.
