Tekashi 6ix9ine is readying a new single as his house arrest nears an end. It’s just a little over a month until the controversial rapper will be released from house arrest after serving four months on racketeering and other charges. On Saturday, the GOOBA rapper took to Instagram to celebrate the news with his nearly 24 million followers.
“I have about 34 more days ’til house arrest is over, about 34 more days and the ankle monitor comes off, and the king of New York is back on the street,” said 6ix9ine, who has been on house arrest since his release from prison on April 2.
Moreover, his plan is to first release another single and video on Friday, July 3. “I’m gonna give y’all one more music video,” he told his fans. “Just picture this, right. I’ve been on house arrest. I broke a whole bunch of records. Since I’ve been home, the first song outta jail, platinum. I have the No. 1 record in the world, from house arrest. I’ve been shooting all the music videos in my living room.”
6ix9ine added, “Picture the noise I’m gonna make when I’m outside.”
Since his release from prison to house confinement, 6ix9ine has already dropped a pair of singles “GOOBA,” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and “TROLLZ” featuring Nicki Minaj, which became his first No. 1 on the chart.
Although it’s unclear what song he plans to release next, he has collaborated with Akon on a remix of his 2004 hit “Locked Up.” He has equally revealed the idea of remaking 50 Cent’s “Many Men.”
“THIS FRIDAY NEW SONG NEW MUSIC VIDEO JULY 3RD,” Tekashi shared on his Instagram Stories.
Meanwhile, he has not slacked on his social media rants as he continues to diss his rivals, including Future, Meek Mill, and Snoop Dogg.
